MY HAIR ~ ~ ~

Friday, January 25, 2008

Went for haircut this morning @ Taipan's APT.

Reached there at around 12.30pm
Waited for 5mins or so

Noone was at the counter

Luckily, one of them, whom I know, saw
It had been a while since I saw him and we talked
But then, I had terrible throat infection, so I kinda lost my voice this morning

So, he took me to my sit and appointed one of the senior stylist to cut for me
The stylist began cutting
Everything went well until. . . . . .

Stylist : S
Me : M

S: 你要剪吗?Do you want to cut? - pointing at my fringe

M: 要。 剪一点而已。Yes, just a bit will do.

I closed my eyes when she began cutting cuz the scissors was really close to my face.
When I opened . . . . . . .. . .

Chocolate Fondue

Monday, January 21, 2008

Went for tax tutorial this afternoon (as mentioned in my previous post)

Nth much to do in class

Since we finished our summary and our draft, we (me, elaine and zhong li) were allowed to leave early.

Since li fong wasn't done, we waited at m floor - were supposed to look for articles, but not long after we sat, li fong called and so, we left m floor and headed towards g floor.

So, we left TBS and went Häagen-Dazs @ Pyramid for their Chocolate Fondue - we were supposed to go last friday, but everyone forgot about it.

The fondue was seriously nice - a must for all to try. There were 4 ice cream flavours - 14 tiny scoops (Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla and Coffee - I suppose), 3 types of fruit (Apple, Strawberry and Banana), Cake, Chocolate Chip Cookies and Biscuit Rolls.

Surprisingly, our friend, Mr. An Li Fong, who finds fondue gay, kinda like it.

**hahahahaha.... told you it was nice**

The 4 of us shared one fondue, but one person could finish one - wasn't filling.

The fondue costs RM59.90 - excl service charge and govt. tax. Overall, it costs us RM69.20 - RM17.30 per person

But it was worth it.

Singing

Wednesday, January 16, 2008

Went for singing class yesterday. Had our usual vocal warm up (Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti DO~~~~~~~). Too bad yesterday was theory class. Prefer practical, at least get to improve my singing skills. Actually we were supposed to perform, which is to sing the whole song out (I've no idea what the title of the song is but I recognize the song through the chorus - 不知道不明瞭不想要为什么我的心~~~~~~~), but due to overspending our time on theory (had to make sure that this small girl understands what he thought), we could not perform it.

The week before, when we were going through the song, my singing teacher advised us to take part in singing competitions. He encouraged us to go for auditions so that it acts as a motivator and we could gain experience from it, so that we could improve faster.

Come to think of it, it's true in a way. At least I didn't waste my money.

Before he even said that, a close friend of mine, some sort of my brother, encouraged me to attend an audition. He felt that I had what it takes, but had no confident as I felt that I lack something. So, I missed out the opportunity. If only my vocal teacher said it earlier. Then I would've auditioned.

Anyhow, hopefully there would be more singing auditions coming up. Then, hopefully, with the help of my vocal teacher, I would be able to improve my singing skills and attend auditions. But before that, most importantly, I had to overcome stage fright. Need to practise more and hopefully I'll be able to overcome it.

Question. . . . .

Tuesday, January 15, 2008

I recalled someone once told me that S.E.X is a symbol of love in a relationship. It shows how much you love and care for the person.

I too remembered the "someone" saying: "Everyone is doing it. So it's OKAY to do it. If he/she is not doing it, it shows that he/she is trying to be 'high class' - in cantonese it's 调高来卖."

Well, is it true?? Does it really show how much you love your partner? Even if everyone is doing, does it mean that it is ok for you to follow and not hold on to your own principles in life?

Time Fliessssss

Friday, January 11, 2008

Sigh. . . Time really fliessssss. . . .

Was talking to my bro and flipping through his textbooks. He asked if they (the teachers that he mentioned) were nice. All of a sudden, it brought me back to the time when I was in secondary school. .

GOSH!! I MISSED IT!!!!

( T _ T )

I really missed the lunch and tea break hours where I used to hang out with my buddies (Sheik, Jean, Teng and Jia Hui) . . Sigh.. . . now, to think of it, I wished that I remained at that time. Don't wanna grow up!!! Everything has changed!!! My BFFs are all at UK. Left me alone in KL. But i'll be joining them soon (hopefully, fingers crossed).

Teng and Sheik came back recently (last December), but i only met up with them ONCE!!! I feel so sad. I mean. . . my best buds came back, was looking forward to meet them, but who knows, i was freaking sick and by the time I recovered, they were about to leave. GOSH!!!!!!

Come to think of it, I hadn't been contacting them lately. What was I thinking?? Note to self, contact more often, never forget them even if I was busy.

We were friends since Form 1. Basically, we kinda grew up together. From a dorky kid, to a teen, and now, we're all grown up. We've really been through a lot of ups and downs together. We laughed together, we cried together. They were always there when I needed them, no matter what. I feel so grateful for having them as my best buddies and I will definitely value our friendship.

19th Birthday

It's 11.46pm, 9th October 2007.

Woke up this morning, saw several unread sms. Read the messages and they were all from my bestest and closest friends, wishing me Happy Birthday. Waking up and seeing their messages definitely made my day shine.

Went to college, attended Corporate Finance tutorial. Friends wished me too. At least they didn't forget. Class was boring and 2 hrs lasted forever. Class ended. Attended Management Accounting lecture. Saw more friends. Wished me and asked what my baby gave me. Haven't receive from him yet, but was definitely looking forward to it. Class ended. Went for lunch. Went for Market Analysis lecture. Took 2 hrs to finish up 10 slides. He can really talk. Class ended at 3.

Went to Swensens with Zhong Li, Elaine, Li Fong and Wing Hoe. As for the rest, they had tutorial classes, so, they couldn't make it. Had "Earthquake" and received a birthday gift from them. Thank you so much. You guys really didn't need to buy it. Went home. Took my shower. Sat in front of the computer, staring at the clock, wishing that 9pm would soon arrive. Yet, a minute lasted forever. Luckily, Ji Woong was there to chat with. Talked about several things. Kinda got some information out of him. Hahahaaaa.

9pm soon arrived.

Was really excited to meet my darling. Quickly dressed up and waited for his phone call. Minutes and seconds passed. Waited and waited and waited. . . . . until finally, the phone rang. I went down and hop in to his car. Went for dinner at Eden. No one was there. It was as if he booked the whole restaurant. The environment was quiet and we really enjoyed our dinner (not the food).

After dinner, we went back to the carpark. Left the carpark and headed straight home. Instead of parking at his usual parking space, he drove up to the highest floor and parked at my parking lot. We talked for a while in the car, and suddenly, he ask me to check his car boot.

Opened the door, went down, closed the door, and walked to the back of the car. Opened up the boot and. .. .

OMG

A BOUQUET OF FLOWERS WAS LAYING THERE. THEY WERE 99 RED ROSES!!!

I was shocked to see that. I didn't know what to do, and quickly slammed the boot. Walked to the passenger seat, saw him lighting a candle. My heart was pounding fast. I walked back and forth - I did not know what to do. He came down from his car and started singing the birthday song. Tears began rushing down. Blew the candle and made a wish. Immediately after that, I started crying. He hugged me tightly in his arms and kissed me on the forehead. I was so touched by him. It was so sweet of him to take the initiative to do so. I really did not expect him to do all this. But, his effort really paid off.

Baby, thank you so much for what you had done for me. I really didn't expect it at all. You really made me felt special at that moment.

Thanks for treating me like a princess and I love you more and more each day.

Thank you so much.

Happy New Year!!!

Thursday, January 3, 2008

It was the last day of 2007, which means, it's New Year's Eve!!

Spent the night with my baby and a few of his friends (Anthony, Jason and Andrew). We went to Sunway Pyramid as it was late and it would be terrible to go all the way down to KL. We reached there at 10pm. Walked around Pyramid. Nothing to do there, besides waiting for the fireworks. So, we decided to ask a man, who works there, if there were any events going on, and where could we watch the fireworks. He suggested the walkway next to JCo Donuts and Coffee. Yes. The view was spectacular! It overlooked Sunway Lagoon's beach. And so, we stood for almost 2hrs, talking crap. 2 hrs may be long, but it was worth it. We were right in front because when we reached, it was practically empty. However, when it was nearer to 12am, the place began to flood with people. So we were quite lucky to reach earlier to get the spaces.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

GOODBYE 2007! HELLO 2008!!

The sound of fireworks could be heard *Woooooooooohoooooooooooooooooo*. It was right infront of me. I saw the whole firework. It was beautiful, especially when I get to spend it with the one I love, my baby. It was really romantic. We recorded the whole 3 minutes of the fireworks and it was really nice.

Here are the videos taken on that night.

*Sorry about the Background voices*

After that, we left the place. The traffic was terrible. Drivers were being so kiasu - they wouldn't let us cut them. We had to force our way through. After that, my babe fetch Jason's girl (Joey) back, and then we went for a drink at Mamak Bistro @ USJ 9. Had roti telur and milo ais - their milo ais is terrible . Sat for awhile, had a short talk and went back.

Reached home at 2.30am. Was very tired, but it was worth the time.

- signing off -

XIN IS BACK!!!

I'M BACK!!!!

Wasn't feeling quite well for the past two to three weeks.

Let's see. .

12th December 2007
Went SJMC - suffered terrible PMS cramps. Gosh. . I hate it. Doctor said nothing about it, besides hormone change. (Like I don't know - Hellooooooo . . . I want to know the cause of it. . ) Took some medications, went home and rest.

16th December 2007
Went Summit USJ for movie - I am Legend by Will Smith. Didn't find the movie that impressing, it's just acceptable. Entered the movie theatre (THX) and sat down. Half way through the movie, felt a slight pain on my chest. Could barely breathe properly because my chest hurts when I inhale. Didn't really bother about it as the pain slowly went away. It was only at that time that it hurts. Other than that, it didn't hurt throughout the day.

17th December 2007
Went for FA lecture at 8am. During class, the pain was worse than yesterday. So, I called up my father, told him about it, and he promised to bring me to the doctor. Went home at 10am. Parked my car and waited for my dad to come down.

Went to a nearby clinic. The doctor presume that it is costochondritis - cartilage inflammation. Gave me some anti-inflammation pills and gastric pills to take with the anti-inflammation pills. He said that the pain would only last for 5 days. Requested for a MC and rest at home the whole day.

21st December 2007
My baby's birthday!!
Was looking forward to this day. Wanted to surprise him on his birthday, but couldn't (T.T). Due to the unbearable pain, I went to SJMC for check up. The doctor checked and asked me to have a X-Ray scan on my chest. When the results came out, it showed that my ribs are perfectly fine and the doctor confirmed that it is costochondritis. This time, the doctor said that it would last for a month or two. She adviced me not to carry heavy things and do not overstretch myself, as the pain would turn worse. She prescribed a different anti-inflammation pills and she assures that everything would be alright. That night, I had to rest at home and I could not celebrate with my baby on his birthday. I'm sorry dear. . .

23rd December 2007
Felt less painful on the chest, but I had difficulty breathing. Had to take deep and quick breathe. At one point, I nearly collapsed on my way to the toilet. I was rushed to the ER once again. The nurse checked my blood pressure and oxygen intake. Everything was alright - my blood pressure was normal, oxygen intake was 100% - but had no idea why I was reacting this way. Then, the doctor did a test - Electrocardiogram (ECG) - to check my heart rate. The results showed that my heart rate was normal. So, the doctor put me on an oxygen mask, so that I could breathe in clean oxygen and control my breathe. 15 minutes later, my condition was better and the doctor confirmed that the air sacs in my lungs contracted. This may be due to inhaling "polluted" oxygen. So, I was adviced to avoid cigarette smoke and those that may affect my air sacs - sensitive lungs.

24th December 2007
X'mas eve!! Promised my friends that I would join them for dinner. Woke up in the morning, felt dizzy, stomach pain, nausea, abdominal pain. Gosh. . I couldn't walk. The more I work, the more painful my abdomen is. Had to lie down on my bed and wait for my dad to come home. Lied down for almost an hour. Tried walking to the living room. Felt better. But the pain came back minutes later. It was terrible. Slept on the sofa for a while, and my dad came back. Took some medication, ate a few spoons of porridge. Couldn't take more, as the pain kept getting worse. Slept again after taking my medications. Was lying on the sofa the whole day. Didn't really walk, besides taking my shower (had to force myself to the bathroom).

However, the pain got worst at around 10. My stomach was in pain. The cramp was terrible. I was crying in pain. Could barely walk. My dad had to piggy back me down to the car. Once again, I was rushed to the ER. The doctor checked and told me that I was experiencing gastricitis (gastric pain). Gave me some medications as I didn't want to take any injections (The last time I took an injection from them, I couldn't walk for a week).

The nurse came in, holding the liquid medication. I sat up, and the nurse started talking to me.
Nurse : "Girl, are you okay?"
Me : "No."
Nurse : "Do you have any personal problems?"
Me : "No."
Nurse : "Are you sure?"
Me : "Yes." (In my mind - Faster give me the medication. Hellooooo. . I'm in pain right now)
Nurse : "Are you studying now?"
Me : "Yes."
Nurse : "What are studying?"
Me : "Accounting and Finance in Taylor's College."

Nurse : "Are you having your exams now?"
Me : "No, but soon."

Nurse : "Are you in alot of stress?"
Me : "No." (I need the medication!!!!)

Nurse : "Are you sure?"
Me : "Yes."

Nurse : "Do you have a boyfriend?"
Me : "Yes."

Nurse : "Do you have any problems with your boyfriend?"
Me : "No."

Nurse : "You know, you can tell me your problems. It's between you and me. We won't leak anything out. You can tell me if you want to."
Me : "Ok."

Nurse : "Are you sure you don't have any problems" *Looking at me with the "I don't believe you" look*
Me : "Yes. I'm okay"

Yes!! She finally gave me the medication, after 5 mins. (At that point, 5 mins was like FOREVER)

Before she left,
Nurse : "You know, you can talk to me."
Me : "Ok."
Nurse : "Remember. If you have anything, just let me know ok?"
Me : "Ok."
And the nurse left, and yes, she was still giving me the "I don't believe you don't have any problems" look.

Took the medication, 45 mins later, the pain was still there. Doctor suggested that I should be admitted for at least a night, to monitor my condition. And so, there I was, spending my X'mas eve in the hospital.

It was depressing. Couldn't spend this special night with the ones I love. But at least I'm alot better now.
