Hmm, looking back at the last blog post, its been more than 6 months since I last updated. 6 months it is, and yea, time flies.

Life for the past 6 months, was pretty awesome (alot of things happened - full of ups and downs)

To write each and every detail in this post, it's definitely gonna take some time. But to sum up things in general:

The end one chapter in my life, and a beginning of a new chapter

Yes, I graduated!

No more assignments, no more waking up in the morning feeling lazy to go to classes, no more walking to uni early in the morning alongside with the gloomy weather back at Bris, no more crapping around in classes with my best mates, no more skipping lectures / tutorials just to go for karaoke session / makan session / movie session / lepak session . . .and the list goes on and on. .

Basically , BYE BYE UNI LIFE!

Yes, I've started working.

No doubt I complained on how much I hated working life before I even started, I guess I was wrong afterall. Yes, I do not have the time i used to have back then, but I'm kinda liking the lifestyle now. Sad? Yea, I feel so too. But, that's the path I've chosen, and I'll have to like it (or learn to, at least), else, I'll be dead in less than a year. And so, to stay alive within this 4 years, learning to like wat I'm doing is what I need to do.

Friends come and go, but true friends are the ones who always remain by your side.

Yes, I know who they are, and I feel really grateful for it.

I've been an ass all these while for not keeping in contact with them. Why so? Start being creative and think of possible reasons. But I'm sure the reason is pretty obvious (so, if you know, good for u, and if you don't, start being creative).

So, words of advice: Never take things for granted. Never be afraid of what people thinks about you. (If they do bitch about u, then, sorry peeeps, Its your loss la!)

Life is full of surprises

Yes it is!

Things happen for a reason, and you will never know what will happen the next second. You may foresee things happening, but things just don't always go according to plan (which I feel, makes life more LIFE). LOL =D

So, be spontaneous. That's how life should be. Pre-planning is always good. But aiyaa. . . . don't la always plan ahead. Tak syiok d la! Enjoy life and things happen for a reason, so, be positive. =D

Yes. So that's basically a SUMMARY of what happened over that past 6 months. So, here I am, enjoying my life more than ever. Not expecting what will happen next.

P/S: Never take things for granted. Appreciate each and every little things that happened in your life. You never know what you will learn from it.

haahha .. . yes. . exams over, uni life's over
no more waking up early for lectures and tutorials;
no more skipping classes because i dun feel like attending;
no more rushing of assignments;
no more stressing over exams;
no more strategizing on what topics to study;

the fact that i'll be starting a new life coming october,
makes me wanna stay in uni longer!

initially, my plan was to head home to look for jobs,
but since i've got one, i'd love to stay around and travel
but too bad, bought tix adi, no point paying extra to change the dates
oh welll, i shall go as many places as possible this 3 weeks
- windsor, birmingham, stonehenge, stratford-upon-avon, lake district, alnwick, edinburgh -
that it at the moment, willtry to fit in more if possible! hahaha =D

anyway,
mx did something terribly wrong
and she's feeling terribly guilty.
i cant type it out here
cuz i dunno if that person will read my blog
but yea. . . i'm feeling dreaful for what i've done

A new day, a new life, a new journey, a new excitement, a new adventure.

Been thinking a lot these few days. Realised what is worth hanging on to and what is not. All journeys have their beginning and ending.

The start of an adventure is usually excited, anticipating, yet nervous, having to figure out what lies ahead; facing it with enthusiasm, believing there's no gloomy days ahead, just bright and sunny days.

As the journey moves on, dark and gloomy days appear, finding it difficult to cope, and constantly complaining the existence of such days, fighting over immaterial matters; distorting the whole adventure, slowing things down, and yet making through the hard times, which brings us to a new day, a bright one indeed. A bright and sunny day, humming our favourite song, enjoying every happy moments we spent. But, such times end quickly without even realising it. Going through such times, blinded by what's left in front, believing this is the right one, not discovering the undiscovered, what a waste.

A tiring yet adventurous one, been an up- and down-hill ride, going through it from time to time, getting bored and sick of it, but not wanting to end it, see no diversed path, still holding on to initial beliefs, convincing it will work - time will prove it.

things happened for the past few weeks which made me lost all my concentration. i cried, i blamed, i complained.

thinking back on what i done, i feel so stupid right now.

what was i thinking?

i have my own life to live. the future is bright ahead.

at least i am happy with my life right now. suddenly i realised so many things that i never knew all these while. it's surprising to hear that honestly, but im glad.

at least i know the truth, and i'm happy with it.

its been pretty long since my last post. . *dead blog*

well. . a quick update on my life so far

- easter break started end of march
- visited sheik at manchester
- visited ron at birmingham
- visited prague
- twisted my ankle at prague
- ron came down to bristol
- met up with jia and went around bristol
- went to the mobile theme park at the Downs
- emo-ed *some of u might know what happened*
- tried revising for finals, but failed
- emo-ed even more
- went to the library for group revision
- now revising at hme :) *more effective i should say*
- made things clear (=
- miss hanging around with my frens *haven't been talking to u guys much lately*
- went for my first acupuncture session at bristol to treat my ankle, but apparently found out more about other problems *darn expensive, i'll be soo broke by the time i finish my treatments*
- attending jia' bday bash this sat
- dont know wht present to buy
- classes started *last week of classes for my degree year* i don't want it to end!
- really have to focus on revision
- exams in 2 weeks
- summer holiday trip in one month
- back home in 2 months

Basically, books lecture notes tutorials additional articles blackboard calculator and table is what my life is all about right now.

My final exam is up in 2 weeks should concentrate hard on it. i dont want to just pass. i want to score but im doubting myself. been lazing around alot - facebook msn tvshows, basically my laptop is my main distraction right now!! -

Time flies without even me realising it. i cant believe that i will be finishing my degree programme soon. the memories of entering college life is still so fresh in my mind, moreover uni life. it seems like just yesterday i started college, and here i am ending my course in 1 month's time. gosh.

been keeping in touch with high school mates recently and, to be honest, it does feel good, but the sad thing is, it brings back all the high school memories that we shared, and makes me want to turn back time, and never leave that period. to all youngsters out the *gosh i sound old, , pfft* enjoy your high school years. they are THE BEST YEARS OF YOUR LIFE. *sigh, , right now, i do regret not being active that time*.

the best thing about high school, to me, is having all your classmates around with you, spending the best times with them - fooling around, sharing the happiness and sadness, gossiping, causing chaos in class, eating in class, sleeping in class, skipping class, texting in class, hiding all our stuffs when we know there are spot checks. . . . .. and the list goes on and on and on.

it really makes me cherish my high school mates alot, realising that they are the ones closest to us, and knows us best. they are by far the ones whom you can trust most, and will always be there for you no matter what happpens. no doubt friends from college and university can be your true friends, but to me, most of them are just friends whom you can mix along, have fun with, but not when sharing your deepest thoughts. *well, thats to me, not everyone thinks so* :)

gosh, , i really miss high school. how i wish i could turn back time, but then, life is all about moving on. the end of a journey is abeginning of another journey. and it goes on and on. all those memories will definitely remain in our hearts till the very end of our journey. it's always good to think back the good and bad times we've been through, and it makes you cherish them more than anything . .

here's the story

i flew back to KL last holiday by KLM
1. flight delayed
2. seat was spoilt - had to sit straight for 13 hrs, the service button was not working
3. my baggage couldn't make it on time due to the delay
4. when i went back Bristol, my baggage was DAMAGED - got a deep scratch from it. thank god it wasn't rusty, otherwise would need to go hospital and check! You're lucky KLM!!
5. reported my baggage damage, took them awhile to reply me
6. no repsonse from them after that
7. sent another mail a wweeek later, no response,
8. sent another the week after, no response
9. this time was frustrated, complaint like mad, and thank god they responded by stating i would receive a response SOON
10. received response 1 MONTH LATER - im like wth
11. excess baggage came collected my baggage last friday *happy*
12. this morning returned the bag to me WITH NOTHING DONE!!

THE DRIVER SAID THERE WAS NO DESTINATION TO WHERE THE BAGGAGE NEEDS TO BE SENT TO, AND SO HE SENT IT BACK TO ME

IM SO DAMN FRUSTRATED WITH THEIR LOUSY SERVICE

I've been thinking alot lately, actually

Eversince I'm back from KL, my mindset had totally changed

Somehow, I realised the important of family to me

Before that I never really understood how important my family means to me

well maybe because i was always with them

back then, I hated the noise at home

I hated everyone being so emotional

But now, those are the things I miss most!

I miss home so much

I never realise I would

but yeah, i miss my family a lotttt

and i really mean it

Somehow, coming back to UK again

made me realise what I really want in life

I want to be with my family

friends are no doubt important

but friends come and go

but family stays

like what my friend always say

"Blood is thicker than anything"

Well my initial plan is to stay until graduation (November)

and then only head home after that

but now after several thinking sessions and calculation sessions

going home would be the best option

not only can i be with my family

i can also save up alot compared to if i stay at the UK over the summer holidays

Well some people may think its a waste of money

for me to keep heading home

they adviced me to stay to experience what i have atm

which i won't be able to experience in the future

welll honestly, it is not a good experience

but all i can do now

Met up with a bunch of friends the past week. It was great to see the familiar faces. Despite that, it made me realise how fast time passed. Wanna know how fast?

let's see

1. it seems as if i jsut got back from bristol, but its been almost a month.

2. i'll be leaving on 1st feb, which is 3 more sundays from now.

3. approximately 2 months of classes remaining

4. graduation on november

5. entering working world

hmmm. . pretty fast actually

not only time flies, people change as well. Wellm we used to crap alot, but now, our topics would be on work, and marriage, and looking back at the good times we had together. hmmm

was talking to cousin that day, and somehow, i realised that people do grow, and that includes me!

hmmm. .. .

well, growing IS part of our lifes. back then, i used to hate the process. i used to make a fuss on how growing is crap, and i dont wanna be an adult. come to think of it, waht a childish act.

to be honest, im quite happy with who i am and what i am right now. i mean, i DO miss the old times (who doesn't), i DEFINITELY miss the sweet-ness my bf and i used to have, but i cant be such a selfish ass and keep complaining on how much i wanna turn back time, and how much i wan him to treat me they way he used to treat me.

all those memories are no doubt sweet memories, and will always remain in my heart

-i will bring them along in my life-long journey, definitely-

i realised i grew ALOT and this is what someone, used to be important in my life, and will be a big influence, wants from me. i dont know if u're reading this, but i grew. although u're no longer part of my life, u will remain in my heart, and i will never forget every word u said. i will prove to u and myself, of course, that i do not need to depend on u all the time.

i'll make u proud! i promise.

Went for movie todaY at Pyramid with bro-s and cousin-s.

Watched Bedtime Stories by Adam Sandler.

It was worth watching in the cinema and with cousin-s and br0-s, non stop laughing.

Today's outing was supposed to be a relaxing one, but it ended up as if i was being stalked!

here it goes. . .

*Was on the way to the cinema, suddenly. .. *

Bro: Jie, our last time head prefect is behind us.

*i turned back and saw them*

Me: Oooh,, i know them. They're from my year.

Bro: Go say hi to them

Me: Ooooohh NO! They didn't see me right?

Bro: Don't know

*straight ran in to the nearest shop, pretended to look around*

*walked out of the shop*

Me: Where are they?

Bro: Neh! *pointing at them, on the escalator to the cinema*

Me: o.O . .. What the f.. . . . ..

Bro: Maybe they're watching the same movie? xD

*walked towards the escalator, and saw 3 more familiar faces in front*

Me: Damit! Block me!

Cousin: Why why?? Where are they?

Me: The 3 guys in front.

*reached the cinema entrance, they were standing there*

*walked away as if i didnt see them*

*reached the shopping area, quickly turned left (they were in the middle). looked down, pretended not noticing them*

iM back from hk!

it's been a tiring and memorable one!

to those who've been on the trip, you guys know what happened.

let's see..

hk = shopping shopping and more shopping = tiring tiring and exhausted

hk = shopping heaven = i like!

but but. . .

hk and macau = memorable one = lots of incidents

hmmm..

hk = disneyland = weird pic

what is that i dont know

but from what i recall there's nth there.

macau = memorable incident = i lost my phone

here it goess..

went for breakfast, left at 9.40 am to catch the shuttle bus which leaves at 10.00aM

managed to hop on the bus, and headed to the jetty.

sat at the last row(right) , next to the window, with bro

msg-ed jw on the way.

reached jetty and from what i remember, I PLACED MY PHONE IN MY BAG.

walked towards NEW YAOHAN

but decided to take the cab to this shopping area.

hopped on the cab and headed towards our destination

didnt use my phone the whole journey as cousin and i were talking non-stop.

reached our destination, looked for mum and the rest.

found them, went into ESPRIT, and shopped!

tried on clothes, recalled not taking out my phone.

went to the counter, paid and left.

crossed the road, decided to split up to save time.

bro and i headed to STARBUCKS.

ordered drinks, collected them and went over to get straws.

from what i remembered, i was holding my phone.

left starbucks, headed to BALENO. mum was there!

bought socks. i stood outside cuz no drinks allowed = . =

headed to quick silver. bro and cousins went in to look for stuffs.

bros bought wallet and shirt while cousin bought wallet.

meanwhile i went opposite to buy MACAU'S FAMOUS PORK CHOP BURGER 猪扒包

mom gave me money.

i left them on the table to let the staff get himself cuz it was really hard to identify.

took the change, waited for my food and collected it.

aunts and cousins went over to a shop to buy local MACAU's t-shirts.

brought grandma-s there, bought clothes and left!

headed over to catch cabs to head back to the jetty.

reached the jetty.

3 out of 4 cabs were there.

the last cab wasnt there, and so we decided to call to ask where they were.

this was where i realised i lost my phone

opened my bag to get my phone to call my bro, but realised it was missing!

i checked and re-checked but still wasnt there, my bag wasnt big btw.

checked my shopping bags. it wasnt there!

checked my pockets, nth there, only a bag of skittles!

went across the road to meet up with the rest and look for the bus.

met bro asked him if he has my phone, he said no.

told him not to fool around (which he usually does) as i was panicking!

he said NO and his face doesnt seem like he was joking

only then i realised i really lost my phone!

used mum's phone, called my number.!

RING, disconnected.

it went on and on!

it seems like someone disconnected the phone.

i sent 3 text msg-s asking the "PERSON" to pick up the phone call and return my phone.

tried calling again.

still no pick up, and disconnected after it rang once.

had no choice but to hop on the bus and head back to the hotel

- it was the same bus i took this morning -

i checked the seats but nth was there.

so i decided to keep trying. still same response.

the whole journey i kept calling and calling

i decided to head back to Macau Peninsula, where the shopping area was, and go to every shops i went to see if they found anything there.

cousin and bro accompanied me

first stop. ESPRIT.

headed to the cashier counter. asked them, they said they didnt see anything.

went to the fitting rooms, checked every single one. staffs were really helpful. they helped check the rooms and their reactions told me that they didnt see anything.

left.

second stop. STARBUCKS.

like what i said, i recall leaving my phone there.

went to the counter, asked the staffs if they've seen my phone cuz i left it there.

STAFF asked OTHER STAFFS if they've seen it in a SELAMBA manner.

GIRL'S INSTINCT

SOMEONE MUST HAVE SEEN IT AND TOOK IT BUT DOESNT WANNA ADMIT!

not only me. cousin's instinct and bro's instinct too tells that one of the staff took it.

we tried everything we could to ask the staffs to co-operate. they still denied.

staff suggested to call the police cuz we wanted to search the staffs.

called dad (back in msia), ask for his advice, and he said let the police handle it.

OK. SET. call the police then.

meanwhile, went to the shop where i bought the PORK CHOP BURGER.

cousin said that she saw me at that time and didnt see me carrying anything on my hand.

tried asking the staffs, they didnt see anything.

went back starbucks. police was there. fyi, police was HAWT!!

Questions asked.

US: can he search the staffs? NO. because it's not their policy and it's a public area.

US: can we have a look at the cctv? NO. because usually they dont record it. they install it for the sake of installing. but the staff said it was for audit purpose. if it doesnt record, what use has it?

PL: are you sure you left it here? YES.

PL: what tells u the staffs took it? From their reaction when we asked them of course.

PL: meaning, you FEEL that they took it? SORT OF.

Police then said that we had insufficient evidence to prove taht the staffs took it. furthermore, the cctvv-s did not record any past events, and it was a public area. it may be the customers who took it, and he has no rights to search or whatsover.

disappointed.

then he asked, 你地要追究吗？

then we asked, 如果我地追究，你会返伲调查吗？

he said, 毋会。

disappointed again.

meanwhile asked mum to ask the tour guide to ask hotel's reception to see if they found anything on the shuttle bus.

reached hotel. headed up to the room. waited for mum and cousin. went in to the room.

sad sial. lost my phone at macau, last day summore. and few hours before we leave to the airport.

just talked and talked in the room, while waiting for time to pass.

while waiting for lift, and she told me the staff she asked, asked her loads of questions:

1. what model?

2. which bus?

3. which seat?

hmmm. . .

looks like there's something!

went in to the lift.

she said she had a strong feeling they found sth, otherwise they wont ask.

MX is back in KL!!

-what a tiring flight-

arrived at Bristol International Airport on 16th Dec 2008 at nearly 1pm due to flight delay

-weather was really bad : foggy-

waited at the airport from then, till 430pm

-elaine jw and aston left at that time, so i went in-

supposedly to board the plane at 455pm but due to the bad weather, flight delayed AGAIN!

ended up waited till 540pm and boarded the plane at around 6pm and headed off to Amsterdam

I was worried as my connecting flight departs at 845pm (Amsterdam time)

the last time i checked my watch, it was 615pm (UK time)

-when the plane departed-

Captain said it would take 1hr to reach Amsterdam

Calculated the time difference

6.15 + 1.oo = 7.15 + 1.oo = 8.15pm

Means. I would be arriving at Amsterdam at 8.15pm

815pm = not exact = leave room for slight delays and landing time

estimated time for me to officially step into the airport = 8.30pm

1 hr was really long at that time

constantly checked my watch to make sure i could make it for the next flight

was realllllllllly worried!!!

FINALLY!!

captain announced : Cabin Crew prepare for landing!!

WAS Uber excited!!

once the plane landed

straight grabbed my heavy lappy bag and handbag

couldnt wait to get down the plane

rushed into the bus

and headed off to the airport

once i stepped into the airport

i literally ran to gate F9

-it was FAR!!! very far!!-

HAD TO RUN!!

only 25mins left!!

i dont want to stay in amsterdam all alone, with no money and not familiar with the place

continued running with heels =.=

but managed to reach the gate on time

approximately 5 mins remaining

but then

the system cancelled my details!

damit!!

due to the flight delay they pre-booked me on another flight!!

which means

they had to re-register me for the currrent flight

the lady asked if i would like to make it for this flight or the next day's flight

obvi i want the current flight

but then, my luggage would not be able to make it on time

if i want to wait for it, i would have to stay over at amsterdam for a night

but the flight company would compensate my stay and other expenses

-tempted tho-

but

NO!!

i aint gonna stay after running in heels just to catch the flight

luggage?

screw it!!

deliver to me then!!

haha

there i was on the plane heading back to KL!

11 hrs on the plane

slept the whole journey

was too tired

too exhausted from PARiS and all the running

woke up at 7am (UK time) = 3pm (Msia time)

which means

45mins more to go!

hahahaha

excited

cant wait!!!!!

i had no idea what i did

but i managed to stay up for 45 mins

not doing anyhthing

at that point i didnt even bother to think if my luggage was safe

i just wanted to get out of the airport and head home

but had to make a report before i leave the airport

and headed off to lodge the report of my missing baggage

and there i was!!

at the arrival hall

phone died

couldnt make any phone calls

so had to wait

IT WAS HOT!!

i saw my dad at the counter

asking bout reporting lost baggage

told him i've already made the report

and yea!!

Life at bristol

Fcking internet connection still aint working

Had fun the other day - some what bonding sessions with housemates - Oliver and Chris

1st session - had to assemble dining tables and chairs
- with housemates and landlord's family
- was pleased it happened and yet made me realise more things

2nd session - had monopoly after dinner at my room
- was the craziest and noisiest monopoly game ever
- modernized monopoly with credit cards
- partnerships and trades
- 3 hrs monopoly which lasted forever
- tiring but fun ;)

Meanwhile learnt new word that day - fubar (fcuked up beyond all recognition)
haahahahah
quite a cool word that the locals use

Classes just started

1st lecture was so boring - a middle eastern lecturer with weird slang
talks very slow
worst than my lectures at Taylors - im beginning to miss them ;)

2nd lecture - missed it
this module has 2 lectures
when we went for the induction last friday, one lecturer said that we would have to attend the 1st lecture to know what the other lecture is for
timetable shows that the 1st lecture was at 5.30 while the 2nd was at 3.30
so, we assumed that we need not attend the 330 one
so, we went back after 1st lecture which ended at 1230
walked home had lunch and left at 400 to the bank to settle some stuffs
at the bank, we met a coursemate - saw her holding this really thick book - which is the module's lecture notes
wondered how she got it
went over asked her if there was lecture at 330
and she said YESSSSS
wthhhh - - - -1st lecture and we've already msised it - bad impression - gone

that's how we ended up not going for lectures

anyway
life at bristol so far is OK
not great not bad
just OK

the environment here is awesome - love the greenery
however i miss the food back at kl
the food here are all the same - uni's food : sandwich and jacket potatoes in every uni bar
terrribleeee
sick of the sandwiches and chips

other than that
bristol is not badd
have only been exploring the shopping malls

havent explore other places - esp sight seeing and scenery

looking forward to it
and hope bristol doesnt dissappoint me ;)

went bristol city centre today for lunch wf elaine zhongli jiwoong and aston
city centre is nothing like kl
the shopping mall has NO RESTAURANTS
we were all so hungry - on the way to city centre
so when we reached , the bus stopped in front of a shopping mall
we thought that we could find food there
but NO. . .. . NOTHING WAS THERE - except this cafe which sells sandwiches - not filling!!

but then a gain, managed to pamper myself with 2 new boots costing GBP20 each - quite cheap good quality nothing like KL's sungai wang's quality - so its definitely worth it

Oh yah one of our housemate is really weird
Landlord told us he has a pet LIZARD
zl and elaine tried "looking for it"
but they couldnt find it
cuz landlord said its under the table
And he mumbles to himself - like talk to himself and smile in public : we met him at the bus stop.

As for another housemate, he'll be in the coming week
and so we wont know how he's like until we meet him
but his room is so nice decorated - you wont know that it belongs to a guy ;)

Other than that - bristol is nothing like london.
really miss london ALOTTT!!!
hopefully classes will start soon
then time will gonnna pass very fast
and then in no time

Crazy Me

Yesterday was quite a day for me. I had no idea what went through my mind, but yeah, I accomplished it and I never thought I would do it.

Basically, I made a consultation appointment with my Management Accounting Tutor - Mr Fan -. It was scheduled at 2pm to 3pm. Also, I asked my dearie Sheik out for an afternoon drink, as she was going to leave - and she's already on her way back to Manchester for her retake -. Furthermore, since it was 14th July - chinese calendar -, my family has this tradition, to have "reunion dinner" at my grandma's place. So, what came to my mind was, to walk to college, walk to the train station, meet sheik, take a train back to PJ. And to my surprise, I had no doubt on it.

I began my "journey" at 1.25pm, under the oh-so-hot-and-burning sun. I kept walking, and the first few minutes felt like FOREVER. At the meantime, I was worried bout my own safety, as there has been lots of kidnapping and unwanted cases lately. SO, I had to be really alert and whenever a vehicle is near, I would stop and look at the vehicle's car plate and driver. Half way through, I thought of turning back, but then, my first half walk would be "Wasted". Somehow, the determination in me, managed to get over, and I continued walking under the burning sun, and, I arrived at my destination, ADP BUILDING @ SUBANG SQUARE. It took me 30 minutes, as I reached at 1.55pm. So, I headed to my tutor's room and went through "Relevant Cost".

The consultation session took 1 hr, and after that, I had to walk to the train station, which was opposite Carrefour. Similarly, I began looking around, to ensure I was safe. Surprisingly, there were many students walking to the train station, and my worries had lessen. My journey started at 3.04pm and I reached the station at 3.26pm. Approximately 20minutes walk.

Then, hoped on to the train, reached Mid Valley, and I was so exhausted and sweaty and sticky. We then had a drink and talked at Starbucks. The aircond was AWESOME!!!

Then, at around 5.30pm, I had to walk back to the train station (KTM), stop at KL Sentral, and take the LRT (Rapid KL) to PJ.

The people at the station (KL Sentral's LRT) were sooooooooooo considerate and organised. Everyone queued up - and i really mean QUEUE up -, and waited for the train. When the train arrived, they went in one by one, and when it's full, they eventually stop. They're just so nice... UNLIKE people at KTM. They're nothing like them. They're selfish, inconsiderate, and no words can describe how un-mannered they are. Terrrible!!!

However, LRT was seriously packed!! Everyone was squashed - and butts were touching butts. Luckily, I had my bag and books to protect me from being touched!! hahahaahah.. TQ BAG AND BOOKS.

Reached PJ at around 6.30pm - was all drained out from the walking and switching and squashing. Yet, it was a great experience, and I was really proud of my self - never in my entire life, I thought I would do that -.

Anyway, today went shopping at Sunway Pyramid with my cousin, Shu Wen. I wanted to get a pair of ballerina shoes and look for white pants, BUT, I ended up getting more than that. Let's see.... I bought:

1. A pair of shoes - From "Sui Sui"

2. A white jeans - From "Miss Selfridge"

3. 2 Tops - From "Forever 21"

4. 3 Tops - From "MNG" : one of it is my mum's

5. A vest - From "Roxy" : I love the vest!!!

6. A "Playsuit" - From "Billabong" : Very rare, can hardly find and it's really cute

7. A bag - From "Carlo Rino"

Apart from that, bought this waist belt, online, from "Petite Treasures". Really cute. Also, bought a camera (Canon Powershot A590) at Digital Mall, Section 14, PJ.

Crazy me. Must be taken over by the "Shopaholic Mei Xin"

Wonder what my dad's gonna say when the statement comes.

Just came back from Jean's house.

A really great day - memories all coming back < :

Went for movie - Redcliff 赤壁 - at Mid Valley with Ron, Shake and Queenezy

After movies went for dinner at Yuen Steamboat with my BFFs - Shake, Jean, Teng and Jia.

It's been a while since the five of us had dinner together - apart from the dinner at Dao-rae.

Food was alright, except for the oh-so-hard-to-get chicken wings - pple were literally flocking over the chicken like nobody's business : seriously, it's hard to describe and u'll have to see it to believe it.

After dinner, went over to Jean's place - what we used to do back in form 5 : chat crap gossip take pics and many many more : didn't have this for a REALLY REALLY LOOOOOONG TIME.

Really tired now but I dont feel like sleeping.

Have to study but NOOOOO my laziness is taking over me.

Below are the comments made by my cousin:

a. Condition : not too good - old and abit of carpet smell (those house around that area are all very old ie 1930s and i bet the condition can not be any much better than what i've seen)

b. Surrounding - its generally college/uni kind of students. Surely black people are present but not concentrated (they are everywhere anyway). Well, its not a porsh area and i guess you shouldn't expect more?

c. Other things that you shoud know:

i. the good stuff: there's two bus that goes from your area (toronto road) to the uni. I don't know the second one but i manage to try bus 70 (operated by 'first). One bus at each different end of the road. - bus 70 is about 5min , and the other about 1min.For bus 70 - it takes around 10-15min to your UWE, along the way, there's retail shops ie halfords, McD...and loads of others. Bus is about 30min interval.

ii. Convenient store - have got one just at bustop - 5 min away- not too bad

d. other contract stuffs:

i. waterbill/sewerage - landlord pays

ii. council tax - not applicable for students and hence required to pay

iii. internet/phone/gas/electrivity - tenant (how much? - the landlard is a complete duh - can't even give me an estimate - they are really old - as old as the houses there)

iv. room rates - GBP206 for the small room, 240 for each other big rooms

v. tenancy period - at least 6 mths contract : can the tenancy period be extended up to Nov

vi. repair - all will be done by landlord upon you calling them. they will bear the cost unless is something not related to wear n tear

vii. kitchen utensils - included

viii. who maintain garden and reduced rent during July' & Aug (forget to ask about this but by the sound of it - she doesn't even want to reduce a penny - which leads to my second point below)

ix. can you take whole house & will it be cheaper (yes- u can take whole house and sublet one out yourself but rates will not be any cheaper - she was suggesting that she's offering about GBP40 per month cheaper than others - maybe u can find this out with your friend?

Do let me know what u gurls think ASAP

Form 5 Gathering

Last Saturday (26/7/08), went Pyramid for "5 Lambda 2005 Class Gathering"

The gathering was scheduled at around 1.30 pm. However, when Sheik and I arrived at around 2.30pm, only Lily, Nicholas and Teng were there. As for the rest, they were not there YET!!

So, the 5 of us headed over to Pasta de Gohan - quite interesting place to go as they combined japanese style with pasta, fusion i guess -

While waiting for our seats, Khee Wei and Amir arrived. So, those were the people for the day, at the moment. 7 of us out of 30 students , quite depressing actually.

Nevermind then, we finally got our seats and i guess the place was jinxed or something like that. When taking a group pic, khee wei's camera slipped from his hand and landed on the floor!! Fortunately, it was OK!! =)

After we had our food, we talked. We talked bout those old times and took the opportunity to keep up with each other's life. It was a really nice time to chill out with old friends and get to see that everyone's doing great. Not long, Lily had to leave, leaving the 6 of us - Amir, Teng, Khee Wei, Nic, Sheik and Me!! -

Then, Khee Wei decided to chill out Yogur Berry - cuz he wanted to eat the "Frozen Yogurt" ;) -

Before that, Nic called up Doug and Julian to join us and they agreed. So, we went called for the bill and headed to Yogur Berry.

Really nice interiors - all pink, heart shapes : quite gay for guys tho ;D -

So, Sheik, Teng and I ordered a Double Frozen Yogurt with Dragonfruit, Mango, Banana and White and Black Choco Chips. It costs us RM5.25 per person :] .

While waiting for our yogurt, we played uno - the deck of uno was on the table - , and before we even started, Doug and Julian arrived ;)

That was a really great time to hang with old friends as it really brought us closer - despite not meeting each other for quite some time -

Although we did nothing much that day, it was really a nice time as i get to see my classmates.

Anyway, all the best to all my friends in their future undertakings and we'll meet up, again, someday. ;)

Back From Redang

I Like!!!

It's been a really fun and tiring trip!

I love the sea and the beach. . It's so CLEAN!!!!! - really really clean - unlike other beaches -

Day 1 @ Laguna Redang

We arrived at the Hotel at around 11.

We were greeted by the PR guy and as soon as he finished his talk, we headed over to the lobby.

At the lobby, we were welcomed with Welcome Drink - which was some kind of assam drink, quite good as it was refreshing -.

Since lunch was not ready, we relaxed ourselves by chilling out at bar's outer seats and enjoyed the ocean view.

Surprisingly, time passed really fast and we headed over to the restaurant. Due to our kiasu-ness, we managed to get a really nice seat which overlooked the sea.

Lunch was filling and it was quite good actually.

After lunch, we headed to the reception area to collect our room keys, luckily our rooms were ready and we headed to the rooms.

By the way - Laguna Redang is where they shot 夏日的抹抹茶 - so, you can see the MORE MORE TEA INN : btw, the hotel plays the movie 24/7.

After settling our luggages, headed over to the beach for a walk.

Sadly, only my boy and I went for the walk as Andrew and his girl went for their diving trip.

So, under the hot sun, we walked on the beach whilst enjoying the clear ocean.

However, due to the burning sun, we headed back to our room - it was seriously hot -.

Surprisingly, i was too tired to enjoy that day and slept during the whole afternoon. When I woke up, it was approx 630pm.

Showered, and went for dinner.

After dinner, sat by the pool side, whilst starring at the star.

Later, we sat by the beach, and had some drinks, and enjoyed the night sea breeze.

Basically, that was my first day @ Laguna - kinda wasted tho. Sad me ;(

Day 2 @ Laguna Redang

Day 2 was a better day. Woke up early in the morning, went for breakfast at the restaurant.

After breakfast, went for a walk on the beach and headed back room to get ready for our first snorkelling trip - it was supposed to be our second one, but we missed the first session on the first day *sadddd* - .

We waited for everyone at the recreation centre, and the briefing started once everyone arrived.

We took a speed boat to Marine Park - 15 mins from our hotel -.

Snorkeling at Marine Park was exciting as it was my time snorkelling.

Fishes were really cute tho.

Unfortunately, we had to be aware of jellyfish - surprisingly, it was jellyfish season, and the last time they "came out", it was 10 years ago : so, m i considered lucky or not???? hmmmm. . . sth to think about ;D -.

We left at almost 1145 and by the time we reached the hotel, lunch was ready.

So, went up to the room to dry up and went back down to the restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, we went for a short walk and headed back to the room to prepare for our next snorkelling trip @ 2.30pm.

We waited at the "waiting centre" @ 2.30 and to our surprise, no one was there. However, more people came time passed.

And when it was around 3.00pm, we headed to our destination - which i do not know -.

It was suppose to take us less than 5 mins to our destination, but due to the current, we had to change our destination which took at least 20mins ;( .

So, our speedboat stopped, and everyone gathered around the "stairs".

This snorkelling trip was WAY better than the morning one, as we snorkelled in the middle of the sea.

The fishes were much nicer and the corals were way prettier.

Really enjoyed the afternoon trip.

Similarly, when it was over, we headed back to the hotel, dried ourselves, and went for dinner.

After dinner, my boy and I followed Andrew and his gf to this "Diving Lecture Hall" to watch the video that they recorded throughout their diving trip.

To my surprise, there are many underwater sea creatures that we've never seen before, and it made me wanna learn diving ;D.

After that, we headed back to the beachside bar, ordered a bottle of red wine, and the 4 of us talked and drank and watched "Tokyo Drift".

That night was about it.

Day 3 @ Laguna Beach

Woke up at 9 - suppose to wake up at 530 : to see the sunrise.

Was too tired and drained out due to y'day's snorkelling trip.

Went for breakfast, and went for our last walk at the beach.

Headed back to our room.

Packed our stuffs and headed to the reception to check out.

I really wanna go back there!!!!!

I love the colour of the sea, the beach the sand and everything there!!

It's just so relaxing.. .

Really have to get myself out of the oh-so-busy-and-hectic-city

Need some time off to relax and that definitely is the right place for me.

Special Farewelll

Last saturday (5/7/08) was my cousin's last day at KL

He came back from London for holiday (3 weeks was really really fast)

Obviously, before he left, we had a "farewell" party which was quite unique

We had a really special dinner at my grandmother's house

My cousin "booked" a 碌碌 van

Honestly, it's really like PASAR MALAM

but we're free to go nuts and we can eat anything at anytime

Look at the variety of food and the amount (kept restocking and never out of food)

Since my cousin had already paid for it

nearer to 11pm

the guy in orange (see pic above, with cap) had to clear everything and leave.

So, aunties, and mom started packing - 打包 - some of the food back home

and

the van began to look empty ;)

Was really a great night indeed :D

Most of the cousins were there.

We talked, we laughed and we drank.

And to those who are interested in this concept

You may call the person-in-charge to arrange for your special night

the price is around RM600 - RM700 - all u can eat -

It's quite worth it and it's really a different experience

- an enjoyable one indeed -

Im back again

Totally recovered from my all-of-a-sudden operation

CONGRATS to my frenx - Weng Fai & Jasmine - on their wedding *will upload the pics soon*

At the moment, am busy worrying bout my referral papers. I've no idea:

If Im eligible to sit for the papers cuz the UNI hasn't send a letter - which should've arrive last month (MAY)
Assuming i'm eligible for the exam, is it considered as my first attempt o not?
What topics would be examined?
Exact date of the papers that I have to resit - Examination date : 11th Aug to 29th Aug

Hopefully will get their reply soon, and then, i can stop worrying and concentrate on the papers - so that I won't have to resit/retake the papers AGAIN and don't have to come back (from UK to Msia) to finish my finals.

Xin is currently recovering from her operation - a very sudden one indeed

Went for operation on the 9th of May 2008 @ 9pm @ SJMC - acute appendix

Symptoms of appendix:

- 9th of May 4.12 am : Woke up, felt nausea, back pain

- 9th of May 9.30 am : Woke up with the same feeling - nausea, back pain, now with fever and headache

So, daddy sent me to SJMC to check.

Doctor asked if i felt any pain, and yea, my abdomen (stomach area) was in pain.

Doctor asked me to lie on the bed, told me to relax, and start pressing really hard on my tummy, but surprisingly, NO PAIN AT ALL!! Then, she pressed on my lower right abdomen (where the appendix was located). A light press = TERRIBLE PAIN.. I was practically screaming in pain.

So, doctor suspected that it was appendix, but to confirm, she recommended to seek a specialist's advice.

So, went over the the doctor's clinic, still at SJMC, waited from 10 sth to almost 12. And it was finally my turn. Went in, doctor told me to lie down, and did the same thing. He pressed real soft but i was in severe pain. This time, it is confirmed that I had appendix.

Doctor told me to be admitted immediately, but i was reluctant to do so. I had my exams going on, especially the next day 10th May 2008 - Tax and Tax Planning - which i prepared long time ago.

Yet, doctor insisted that i should be admitted as he feels that it should not be dragged, as it may worsen. So, i had no choice but to admit and operate that night itself. Meanwhile, my daddy had to explain to the exam unit about me, not being able to sit for the papers.

And so, I waited the whole day in the admission lounge for my room - since the rooms were all occupied, and mine was still in the process of cleaning - which took at more than 5 hours. Fortunately, it was available by 5 sth, and thankfully, I listened to the doctor because at that time, I was suffering from severe back pain and fever. And unlike other appendix patient, I felt no pain at all at the area and i was capable of walking.

And so, I waited from 6 to 9 for the operation theatre to be available - originally, my operation was scheduled at 7, but it ended up at 9 sth 10. Yup, OT was full that night - even emergency cases like mine, need to be extended, imagine cases which deals with life and death, waiting for additional 2 hrs might take one's life.

So, there I was in the OT, and according to my parents, I was brought out from the OT at 10.45 pm. Meaning, I was in there ffor 1 hr 45mins, but the actual operation took around 10 mins (from the video of my operation - wanna see??? Ask me then =) but viewer's discretion is adviced)

So, that was it, and I requested to leave on monday, as I could not stand the night shift nurse who doesnt know how to inject and doesnt know how to be a nurse.

And now, I've been home for a week and it's been 12 days since my operation, and I'm doing really well. To all those who came and visited, thanks alot. I appreciated it. To those who did not come but send their regards, thank you too. And to those who didn't know, i had an operation 12 days ago, and I'm doing fine now. No worries, and not long from now, Xin will be back - 100%

Been MIA for awhile. and will continue for a month. .

Need to lock myself up - exams in 2 weeks and not a single revision - yea. . i'm becoming lazier than ever. .

Instead of revising, I've been busy with accomodations and air tickets, and worrying bout visas and so oon. . which i should be doing after my exams. .

Aihz .. darn it. . Lazy meeeee

Btw .. . hahaah. . something really "spiritual" happened last saturday (19th April 2008).

Hahahha. . I saw a figure in red. . running across the road.

It all began when . . . . .. . . .

I was in the car with my cousins. We were all talking and joking happily cuz we just went for a drink and are on the way back to our grandma's place. Just before the last turning to my grandma's place, i saw the figure running across the road.

I almost shouted; " STOP THE CARR!!!!" cuz it was as if my cousie was gonna bang "it". But then, when i look again, no one was there and I was really sure that I saw the figure running across.

That night, my bros and I crammed in our parent's room - cuz we chickened out. Yes, and i couldn't sleep that night. Kept having this thought that "it" followed me back and all. Felt so uncomfortableeee....

Yesterday night, the chicken me had to switch on all lights - and i mean ALLLL lights - every lights in my house were on, and i meant it. - it shows how chicken i was.

Well, then again, this would be my last post until 22nd May.

hahaha.. all the best in my exams and wish me luck. .

Haven been updating my blog recently. . .
Almost look like Ive abandoned it (poor blog)

As i mentioned in my previous post, was looking forward to the PD trip?? was i??
Went there on the 11th and came back on the 12th. .
Since 12th was my mummy's bday. . we decided to buy a cake near our place. .
Surprisingly. . there were no bakeries. ..
So we decided to head to the cafe downstairs to ask if they have any cakes?
Mana tau, my cousin's fren from jogoya now works as the hotel's chef, so, the cake was percuma.. sponsored by my cousin's kawan!!

Overall, the trip was a normal, plain trip.. nth much. just relax. . played water. . cycled.. foot reflexology. . mahjong.. banana boat. . Karaoke (K-box, 1 song = RM1.50 = expensive sia = sound system manyak teruk)

Yesterday (20th March) was a public holiday - Prophet Muhammad - or sth like that.
Went pavillion wf mah famlay.
Spent my whole famile - daddy mummy bros and me - on fish spa - name of shop = Kenzo -
It costs me RM171 (RM38 for adults and RM19 for children below 12 - all for 30 mins)
In the beginning, we were all reluctant to get our feet into the water cuz it was really. . and imean SERIOUSLY ticklish!!
It lasted for the first few mins and then, we were used to the ticklish sensation, and it was quite an experience

As for today, nth special besides replacements as a result of yday's public holiday. .

Audit assignment = nightmare

Mr. Mahathir (audit lecturer) said that there were quite a number of failures and for topic 2 (the one i did : "Crisis of confidence - have the recent audit failures damage the profession") there were 2 cases of plagarism. He showed us one of the reports.

According to Mr. An Li Fong, he said that the footer of the report - page number - consists of only numbers (like -1- instead of " page 1 of 23)... this scared me even more cuz my report is numbered based on that.

That night, i dreamt that i was one of them who plagarized. . . .definitely shocked me. . and I straight away jumped up from my beddd. . . .

It definitely is killing me to wait for the results cuz i don't know how well/bad my report is... and i keep wondering if i fulfilled the referencing system, so as to avoid plagarism. .

Chinese New Year is over **so fast**

Kinda had a great CNY tho. . .

Had wonderful dinners last Saturday (16/2/08) and Sunday (17/2/08)

I love the restaurant!!!!

hahhaha. . . the food's really awesome. . can be quite expensive though. . depending on what u order. .

- geoduck : steamboat style - **i finally get a taste of it**

Overall, the dinner was great! Surprisingly, it was quite cheap for 3 tables, RM2600 (approximately RM800-RM900 per table)

Oh gosh.. i wanna go there again for dinner!!!!

Sunday (17.2.08)

Went Noble House at Jln Imbi for dinner.

The food there is quite normal. Actually, we went there just for the Pun Choi (盆菜)

Inside it, there's: Abalone, Scallop, Dried Scallop, Sea Cucumber, Prawns, Goose Web, Chicken and many more. . (RM78/person. Min of 4 person)

Surprisingly, it was more expensive than Saturday's dinner.

We only reserved 2 tables, and yet it costs us RM1800 for only 6 dishes (Pun Choi adi costs RM320/table)

Went out at 6 for dinner and reach my grandma's place at around 730

We had nth to do, so one of my cousin suggested to go for a cup of drink at OldTown Kopitiam

I had no idea what happened in between the conversation, but Haagen Dazs's Fondue popped up all of a sudden by my mummy dearest.

Because of that, everyone wanted to try and my mummy dearest started asking my aunties, my cousins and my bro (who won RM100 from playing mahjong) to sponsor RM50 each.

Yes, everyone paid. . My auntie = RM50, My mummy dearest = RM50, My bro = RM 50, My eldest cousin = RM50, my younger cousin = RM50 : Total = RM250

(fyi : b4 we left, my cousin and my mum took a pear from my grandma's hse, cut it and brought it along)

Chocolate Fondue

Went for tax tutorial this afternoon (as mentioned in my previous post)

Nth much to do in class

Since we finished our summary and our draft, we (me, elaine and zhong li) were allowed to leave early.

Since li fong wasn't done, we waited at m floor - were supposed to look for articles, but not long after we sat, li fong called and so, we left m floor and headed towards g floor.

So, we left TBS and went Häagen-Dazs @ Pyramid for their Chocolate Fondue - we were supposed to go last friday, but everyone forgot about it.

The fondue was seriously nice - a must for all to try. There were 4 ice cream flavours - 14 tiny scoops (Strawberry, Chocolate, Vanilla and Coffee - I suppose), 3 types of fruit (Apple, Strawberry and Banana), Cake, Chocolate Chip Cookies and Biscuit Rolls.

Surprisingly, our friend, Mr. An Li Fong, who finds fondue gay, kinda like it.

The 4 of us shared one fondue, but one person could finish one - wasn't filling.

The fondue costs RM59.90 - excl service charge and govt. tax. Overall, it costs us RM69.20 - RM17.30 per person

But it was worth it.

Went for singing class yesterday. Had our usual vocal warm up (Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti DO~~~~~~~). Too bad yesterday was theory class. Prefer practical, at least get to improve my singing skills. Actually we were supposed to perform, which is to sing the whole song out (I've no idea what the title of the song is but I recognize the song through the chorus - 不知道不明瞭不想要为什么我的心~~~~~~~), but due to overspending our time on theory (had to make sure that this small girl understands what he thought), we could not perform it.

The week before, when we were going through the song, my singing teacher advised us to take part in singing competitions. He encouraged us to go for auditions so that it acts as a motivator and we could gain experience from it, so that we could improve faster.

Come to think of it, it's true in a way. At least I didn't waste my money.

Before he even said that, a close friend of mine, some sort of my brother, encouraged me to attend an audition. He felt that I had what it takes, but had no confident as I felt that I lack something. So, I missed out the opportunity. If only my vocal teacher said it earlier. Then I would've auditioned.

Anyhow, hopefully there would be more singing auditions coming up. Then, hopefully, with the help of my vocal teacher, I would be able to improve my singing skills and attend auditions. But before that, most importantly, I had to overcome stage fright. Need to practise more and hopefully I'll be able to overcome it.

I recalled someone once told me that S.E.X is a symbol of love in a relationship. It shows how much you love and care for the person.

I too remembered the "someone" saying: "Everyone is doing it. So it's OKAY to do it. If he/she is not doing it, it shows that he/she is trying to be 'high class' - in cantonese it's 调高来卖."

Well, is it true?? Does it really show how much you love your partner? Even if everyone is doing, does it mean that it is ok for you to follow and not hold on to your own principles in life?

Sigh. . . Time really fliessssss. . . .

Was talking to my bro and flipping through his textbooks. He asked if they (the teachers that he mentioned) were nice. All of a sudden, it brought me back to the time when I was in secondary school. .

GOSH!! I MISSED IT!!!!

I really missed the lunch and tea break hours where I used to hang out with my buddies (Sheik, Jean, Teng and Jia Hui) . . Sigh.. . . now, to think of it, I wished that I remained at that time. Don't wanna grow up!!! Everything has changed!!! My BFFs are all at UK. Left me alone in KL. But i'll be joining them soon (hopefully, fingers crossed).

Teng and Sheik came back recently (last December), but i only met up with them ONCE!!! I feel so sad. I mean. . . my best buds came back, was looking forward to meet them, but who knows, i was freaking sick and by the time I recovered, they were about to leave. GOSH!!!!!!

Come to think of it, I hadn't been contacting them lately. What was I thinking?? Note to self, contact more often, never forget them even if I was busy.

We were friends since Form 1. Basically, we kinda grew up together. From a dorky kid, to a teen, and now, we're all grown up. We've really been through a lot of ups and downs together. We laughed together, we cried together. They were always there when I needed them, no matter what. I feel so grateful for having them as my best buddies and I will definitely value our friendship.
